Went to the graduation party. The whole thing was Western theme and they played country music the WHOLE time. I thought I would go insane. I don't know anyone and I'm too shy to really socialize

So I was talking to Carol (Cindy's sister) and she has a room for rent. So I asked her how much and she said for me really cheap and it is especially for Calif. You can't find a place to rent for less than $1,100. A room usually cost $700-$800 a month. But she gave me a really low cost. So I said yes but of course my mom is against it. She's afraid I'll embarrass her or something. She said it will just be me, JB and her when she's in town. But right now he has a friend (very attractive by the way) staying with him. So I don't know what to do. I can't beat the cost but do I risk pissing my mom off. But I'm sure something will happen and I won't get it. My mom will sabotage it like she manages to do when she wants something her way. She'll probably call Carol and tell her that I'm messy since Carol is a clean freak.

Talked to SAM for a bit yesterday. He's supposed to call today but we'll see. I don't know if/when he wants to get together again.

Oh well I guess I should do some work.
